Freshly cleaned and kitchen and cellar restocked…

The hold is fresh and sparkling, fragrant with the piney and citrusy scents of various cleaning liquids – bright and shining for the New Year, perhaps?

Care has been taken to restock the pantries, cupboards and shelves – cans and bottles to cover a selection from every manner of drink, soft to hard.

If one were to peek into the cellar, they will see that the shelves are now stocked with various food supplies ranging from vegetables, fruit, through to rice and noodles. A fresh collection of jarred herbs and spices have also been placed in the kitchen area, along with an assortment of various loose leaf teas and tisanes.  To help with the perfect brew, the sluagh and other tea afficianados will find that there is now a plethora of additional spoons stocked along with the star-handled set provided earlier.

Behind the counter, Firnost’s barflies will be greeted by various bags of potato chips, peanuts (salted/unsalted), and chocolate candies – after all, a good bar is always nice with a few nibbles.

Less exciting but equally necessary, various bottles of cleaning fluids, soaps and culinary scrubbing accessories have been brought down to the cellar as well as left in the kitchen.

Besides the supplies, it appears that the anonymous benefactor has also done a good day’s work in cleaning up the hold.  Chairs around tables were set to tidy default arrangements, while various flavors of rubbish were gathered and / or swept away where suitable.

The bar counter and table tops gleam, and even the cushions of the couches and chairs have been cleansed of any crumbs or other oddities that’d fallen between the cracks, forgotten, and perhaps best left unmentioned.   The dust bunnies may well mourn the loss of many a stash of crumbs.

A small collection of old keys, odds and ends and… things of miscellany have been left with the gloves for anyone seeking oddments that may have fallen from pockets.

Someone, or someones, apparently has taken an interest in giving back to the hold.
