Around 9am on Thursday, a figure slips into the garden, veiled by glamour. One by one, three flags come up anew in a slightly different location. House Leanhaun flutters green and gold, Liam’s silver tree on blue, and Scathach’s gray on black.
The three flags look, despite their different blazons, very much like the ones put out earlier in the week.
Once again, several commoners of the hold, possibly offended by the mere presence of the noble house blazons, attempted to remove the flags by fire later that same evening.
This time however, the licking flames were met by an explosion… of popcorn?
White and fluffy from one, Extra buttery from another, and the third smelling of powdered cheese. Some of the fluffy popcorn pieces supersized …as big as baseballs, as big as basket balls. Some real, some chimerical… scent filling the garden with eau de ‘Movie Theatre’.
Three founts of popcorn, some spewing quite high and perhaps getting caught in the trees, most just forming near where the flags were and smothering the fire out.
At the end of the explosive appearance, three haystack sized ‘hills’ of popcorn cast a warm feeling (And fragrant smell) all over the garden – much to the delight of the Freehold’s popcorn-loving spiders and dust bunnies.
