Around 9am on Monday, the Firnost Garden was once again visited by the mysterious figure, veiled by magic, who has placed three new Noble flags. Balor’s serpent and tower, the Beaumayn star on onyx, and the ever-watching owl of Aesin – this last, rather unpopular in Firnost after the visits from a certain Sidhe…
This round of flags came with a new addition, and audible component. Approaching the Balor flag within five feet triggered warnings from an old car alarm: ‘Protected by VIPER… you are standing too close!’.
Approaching the Aesin flag within five feet, one hears “The Immigrant Song” playing, only as if sung by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Closing within five feet of the Beaumayn flag, it begins to play “If I knew you were coming I’d have baked a cake…” sounds like the Eileen Barton version.
Once more, Firnost’s denizens have decided to deal with the flags. Though they remained up unmolested for the better part of the day, anyone observing, or listening in around 10pm would have heard a rather frantic rendition of Flight of the Bumblebee.
Following this impressively performed cantrip, the flags have vanished, to be replaced by a trio of brightly-hued spring flowers – each a good 6 feet in height.
