No bed and breakfast would be complete without the ‘bed’.  A the top of the stairs from the Freehold common room stretches a long hallway filled with doors.  Though they are each perhaps only a foot apart, a twist of the handle reveals a full suite within, blending the secure privacy of a hotel room with the ‘family guest’ feel of the accommodations at an upscale B&B.

No matter how many guests are staying for a given evening, there never seems to be a shortage of rooms. Indeed, one might be hard-pressed to say how far the hallway goes down.

Each room varies slightly, perhaps by the needs of the occupant, or just the whim of the Dreaming. Consistent factors appear to be a comfortable bed with ample pillows and comforters, a table or desk with basic stationary, a hissing radiator, pot-bellied stove, or fire set behind a grate (alas, no personal bale), and suitable bathroom accommodations – whether that be a shower stall that a troll can stretch in, or a soaking tub fit for a selkie.
